Piano Educator

Job Description & Requirements

  • We are looking for committed music educators to teach in our Piano Academy at our upcoming Katong campus. We have both full-time and part-time positions available.

Responsibilities

  • Teach individual piano lessons as well as group and ensemble classes.
  • Contribute to the development and curriculum of The Music Circle’s Piano Academy.
  • Attend school development meetings and events.
  • Organise activities for students and their families, including performances and learning journeys.

Requirements

  • Have a love for children and a heart for helping them grow through music.
  • Be committed to personal growth and musical development.
  • Be able to work alongside and collaborate with our team of music educators.
  • Be a confident music educator with a degree or diploma in music.

All candidates will be provided structured training in the Teacher’s Academy Training Programme. The programme includes mentorship by TMC’s Artistic Director, pedagogy-related workshops, lesson observations as well as assistant teaching opportunities.

Cello Educator

  • We are looking for committed music educators to teach in our Instrumental Academy. We have both full-time and part-time positions available at both the Bukit Timah and upcoming Katong campuses.

  • Attend school development meetings and events.

Early Childhood Music Teacher

Job Description & Requirements

  • We are looking for committed music educators to teach our Early Childhood music classes for children from 2 to 6 years of age. We have both full-time and part-time positions available.

Responsibilities

  • Teach as well as assist in Early Childhood classes for young children.
  • Have a love for working with young children and have a heart for their all-round growth and development.
  • Have a demonstrated proficiency in music especially singing.
  • Willing to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
  • Be able to perform fluently on the keyboard or other instruments – basic chords with melody and simple improvisation.

Violin Teacher
