Teaching Left-Hand Technique including Shifting and Vibrato

About this Workshop

This workshop introduces participants to the progression of teaching left-hand technique such as finger patterns and geography, shifting as well as vibrato. Participants will learn the fundamentals of the range of techniques as well as related warm-up exercises, etudes, and suitable repertoire available to develop their students in this area.

Common pitfalls and weaknesses of left-hand technique will also be discussed and remedial methods introduced.
